FUNDING FOR PAPER COPIES OF OUR NEWSLETTER FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT ACCESS TO COMPUTERS. In June 2019 SCAN received £1,000 from the Groundworks/Tesco ‘Bags of Help’ scheme. This helped us to produce some of our newsletters in the more efficient format of a booklet, printed by a local printing franchise, as well as postage costs. However, half of the paper copies still had to be printed ‘in house’ to draw out the life of this award. We have been distributing copies of both examples around the Borough each month since July 2019 and the last edition produced in these two formats will be distributed at the end of February 2020. The editor has always endeavoured to seek out stories about disability issues – highlighting problems as well as successes - but to also to find a balance for the inclusion of local information, whenever it is made available. As this current project heads towards its conclusion, we welcome your views on what you have seen in each issue. Please respond to the email address at the top of this notice or write to SCAN, 31 Riverside Close, Staines. TW18 2LW

Is there any disability related news item that you would like to see included?
Would you like to see more news items included each month?
